National Geographic Reach

National Geographic Reach is a dynamic English program that combines structured language development with real-world content from science, geography, culture, and global topics. Designed to build both language skills and academic confidence, this series helps students strengthen reading comprehension, expand vocabulary, and develop critical thinking skills.

Through engaging nonfiction texts, vibrant visuals, project-based activities, and meaningful discussion tasks, students learn to use English not just for conversation — but for understanding the world around them.

Reach Book B1 – Level A2
(Elementary to Pre-Intermediate)

Reach B1 supports learners at CEFR A2 level, helping them move beyond basic communication into more confident sentence building and reading comprehension. Grammar focus includes present and past tenses, future forms, comparatives, modal verbs (can, should, must), and expanding sentence structures.

Vocabulary centers around nature, animals, communities, exploration, and everyday global topics. Through engaging nonfiction texts and structured speaking activities, students improve fluency while learning fascinating real-world facts. This level strengthens reading stamina and helps learners transition from simple English to more detailed expression.

Reach Book B2 – Level A2+ / Low B1 (Pre-Intermediate)

At strong A2 to emerging B1 level, Reach B2 develops greater independence in speaking and writing. Students deepen their understanding of past continuous, present perfect, first conditional, relative clauses, and more complex question forms.

Vocabulary expands into environmental issues, inventions, cultures, and scientific discoveries. Students work with longer reading passages and structured writing tasks that require explanation and opinion. The real-world themes keep learning meaningful, while grammar practice ensures accuracy and steady progress toward intermediate fluency.

Reach Book C – Level B1 (Intermediate)

Reach Book C brings students solidly into CEFR B1 level, focusing on academic-style reading and clearer written expression. Grammar includes advanced perfect tenses, passive voice, second conditional, reported speech (introduction), and more complex sentence linking.

Vocabulary topics cover global challenges, technology, social responsibility, wildlife, and innovation. Through thought-provoking nonfiction texts and project-based learning, students develop critical thinking skills while strengthening structured paragraph writing. This level builds confidence for school-level English and international exam preparation.

Reach Book D – Level B1+ to B2
(Upper-Intermediate Foundation)

Reach Book D prepares learners at strong B1 to approaching B2 level, helping them use English in more analytical and academic ways. Grammar focus includes advanced conditionals, reported speech, passive constructions, perfect tenses, and complex clauses.

Vocabulary becomes more abstract, covering global development, science, culture, leadership, and future challenges. Students engage with longer, content-rich texts and develop structured essays, discussions, and presentations. While the lessons remain interactive and visually engaging, this level strongly prepares students for secondary school English, higher-level exams, and confident real-world communication.
